Watching the kite surfers at Mt Manganui. Wish this had been a thing when I was young. Used to do a lot of dinghy sailing, and a bit of windsurfing. But, I guess I would have had to learn to surf first.
I saw this for the first time last year! it's awesome to watch I don't think I would have tried it even when I was younger!! quite a skill I imagine. nice shot
@ulla Very skilful, especially this guy. There was about 5 of them out there, the others were foiling beyond the breakers, but this guy was leaping the waves. A joy to watch
Great shot! And it looks like so much fun! I’d love to try it! Sadly though I don’t know how to surf and don’t live near an ocean so it seems highly unlikely. I’ve tried hang gliding...I wonder if it’s a similar feeling.
