I lived in Hawaii as a child, and I love seeing the barefoot children! (We were asked NOT to wear shoes at school unless it was necessary!) This picture captures life there the way I remember it! You're adorable and your outfit is gorgeous!
@Weezilou that’s so wonderful to read. Barefoot is how we all grow up here. My mother is from England and she used to fight with us as kids when she took us there to get us to wear shoes. I still don’t like shoes very much 🤣
@zambianlass I love reading that! Generally, at most I'll wear sandals if we go out; I don't care how dressed up others are! In an almost spiritual way, I love the attachment of my feet to the ground! ...and I've loved following you and your photos!
