This week I was challenged by @wenbow . In Wendy's words "I would love to see you give us a star trail shot if you have the time & the weather permits. I will give a back up plan if the stars don't play, a shot of capturing three things - friend, flower & fantasy"
I really want to do star trails. Had scouted a remote spot with enough detail in the foreground. But the stars didn't want to play. Every night last few nights has been cloudy. But I will do a star trails as soon as I get another chance.
So this is the backup plan. Original image in the middle of the collage was taken tonight and is inspired by a shot I saw on the "images of sleep" thread here. This was titled Snoozes by @coolgirlsar. Really liked it and wanted to do my version of it.
The rest of the images are of things that my younger son loves and is always talking about. He loves bikes, going to the beach with his brother, loved NZ holiday (in particular the flowers he saw there) and wants to get a dog.
In addition to all of the above, I often wonder if we dream in colour. Thats the reason for half the 'fantasy' being in B&W
Oh my goodness what a super collage of your sons favorite things! I really love the one in the right lower corner. It looks like the flowers are swallowing them up :) So pretty! :)
