Like the title says, this is inspired by yesterday's discussion post, liquid photography ideas.
Half hearted attempt in the middle of the night but like the result so posting it here.
Particularly like it beause of the crown besides the glass http://365project.org/discuss/articles/16290/liquid-photography-ideas#post-reply
@ozziehoffy awww, thanks ;-)
Camera house comp... which one was yours? All finalists were awesome. Why shocked? Take credit when it it due :-)
Don't forget to use the voucher though. One of mine expired today :-(
@mamamia@yrshot thanks @mamamia not much. Just a white background and what you see in the shot. Have been meaning to custom make a 'white box', if that is the right term, but haven't yet.
I want to try something like this for one of my photo projects at school! This is absolutely amazing. How did you make everything so bright and just how did you do it?!
@rayraychel467
I had white foam board at the bottom and behind the setup. out a couple of drops of food colour in the empty glass and then just poured a bottle of water very quickly, while taking shots. this is the second shot of the series. the rest had a lot of water at the base.
Later I increased brightness a little in lightroom. here's the exif info
Exposure: 0.004 sec (1/250)
Aperture: f/6.3
ISO Speed: 100
Focal Length: 35 mm

Thanks everyone for your time. Your comments are inspiring and motivating :-)
@thirtysevenways no, this is not the first shot. This is the second shot :-) Rest of them had a lot of water at the base.
