I was asked to "create an image or images influenced or inspired by someone you really admire"
I'm fairly new to photography so am yet unfamiliar with the big names in industry. When I was starting out a few years ago, a fellow 365er shared a light painting docu with me. It really made me see light in a different way and experiment with it. The story was of Denis Smith and one of the first major influences on how I shoot.
This shot is actually not meant to look this way. I was shooting at the beach to get the moon as well as water. In this shot I'm running away from the waves. I reaaly like the effect so decided to share this instead of a perfect orb.
