Today started off cloudy and cool, but this afternoon the sun came out and the skies 'blued' over, although there was still a cool wind in the air.
Had a fabulous drive out around the villages of Nettleton, Grittleton and Hullavington.
This view was taken along a small country road somewhere between Nettleton and Grittleton, where the field was awash with the bright yellow colour of the flowering oil-seed rape, in contrast with a light blue sky and fluffy white clouds.
Driving back "down south" from Leicester yesterday we passed fields and fields of rape seed with lovely blue skies and puffy clouds just like this, I kept wanting to stop but.... now I wish I had! Love this, the contrasting colours...fav
