It is so sad that all these lovely quaint pubs are closing - don't think people can afford to go out drinking like they used to, or don't choose to! Like the processing
@lyndamcg Thanks for your comments - yes sad that many village 'locals' have closed - this being one of them. Not sure why The Bell has not been successful recently - it always used to be very busy say 5 years ago. I think it lost trade when it was sold then to someone who tried to turn it into a gastro pub and probably lost all the locals as it was too expensive. Then as they couldn't make it work it got sold on again, but by this time the damage had been done.
