Pillars

Walking down at Porthgain on the north Pembrokeshire coast.

This is the view from Porthgain west to Porthgain east, the village of Porthgain and the harbour lie just of right of the picture.

The two white pillars you see, one on the left hand side and the other across on the cliff edge are an old form of lighthouse, where hopefully the mariners would be able to see the white pillars glinting in the sunshine to warn them of the rocks.
