Been trying to get a good pic of this spidey for a while. He lives at the front of our house, builds a huge web every night, then packs it up in the morning and goes back to sleep. The main web is probably about 1m across, and the spider (a garden orb weaver) is around 7-10cm leg-tip to leg-tip. The pic is a bit overexposed - it was either the spider or the web... in this case the amazing web won!
Technically it was the next day when I took this pic, but I figure it counts since I haven't made it to bed yet after a late night first-aiding at the theatre...
