I got sick of the state of the world earlier this month, and after waiting for someone to do something about it, I realised that I was someone and should get on with it :) I had no clue what I was doing, but I somehow organised a food drive for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre - and before I knew it colleagues all over the uni where I work were organising boxes for donations. We're making our final rounds to empty them all tomorrow, but we already have 23 boxes of goodies to deliver to the foodback - and more to come! Yay! We're so excited to be able to support such an amazing cause - and that so many people got involved.
