Art History

Today's lunchtime photo is a huge hanging piece of art work inside the foyer of the headquarters of HSBC. It's really quite cool and this photo doesn't do it justice.

It's called 'The History Wall' and is made up (so the sign says) of 4,000 images taken from the bank's archieves. Images are hung on wires and angled so as you walk by, the view changes. The letters HSBC are slightly raised..

Woken early this morning by my girlfriend calling to let me know she got to Calcutta ok..Why did she have to tell me it's 90+ degrees and not a cloud in the sky... Sooo jealous...
that looks amazing!
