A Host of 'not so' Golden Daffodils

Just one rather weak and insepid looking yellow daffodil in the midst of a sea of white blooms...

I came across these daffs (beaneath a tree but not beside a lake) in the grounds of St George's in the East in Shadwell this lunchtime.

Am I the only one who thinks the white ones (with the small center) are actually called Narcissus? I googled the image, and there they were! You got a lovely field of whatever-they-are, and one, fun but lonely daffodill! I like that you pulled it together the way you did!

Hi Louise, narcissus is the generic latin name for all types of daffs.. but agree with your comments, this one flower does look kind of lonely surrounded as he is... :-)
