Today marks Armistice Day - or Rememberance Day - So I was pretty annoyed I was busy stuck at my desk working to notice 11am and officially observe the 2 minutes silence. Fortunately, I was working and not talking so I can take solace in the fact at least I wasn't chatting away disrespecting the losses of others.
At lunch I wandered down to the local church to take a photo of poppies... Was rather surprised not to see a war memorial there! So on the way home, I stopped off at a church yard near my flat that has a small memorial to all those who gave thier lives...
Really windy today, the QE2 bridge has been closed all day meaning the roads were chock-a-block and it took me ages to drive home - rarely drive in and when I do, there always seems to be problems on the roads... Well... I do live in London!!!
