Was a quiet day in the office with only 5 of us in. Four were woman and at 12 o'clock they decided to go shopping..! So at 2pm, with no one back, I decided to knock off for the day and go up the West End.
I started off at Green Park and walked down to Buck Palace, noticed the Queen was in, then headed up to the German market in Hyde Park.
This is a sneaky shot of some guy walking through the park.
Wandered along Oxford Street (packed) and down through Carnaby Street (not so packed), Soho (couple of dodgy geezers), Trafalgar Square (no Rich) and onto Westminster (no students or MPs) before catching the train home. Here's the rest of the snaps from today http://andycphotos.shutterfly.com/815
New series of Top Gear tonight... gooood...
Shortest day today... Should be getting lighter and warmer then!!! Yeah right!!
That's a brilliant shot. I love photos like this when you capture people going about their daily business. I've decided to avoid central London but I need to go for drinks somewhere on Thursday!
nice stroll Andy, I wish I could have a lovely walk in London too. In Paris the snow is gone but some more expecting for tonight! Did you see the mess between paris and london eurostar? love all the pictures, thanks for sharing all with us.
thanks everyone @parisouailleurs yeah, the travel problems have been all over the news... papers are calling for heads to roll as it's the same everytime we have a couple of inches of snow... everything in the UK grinds to a halt....
Off to go look at your tour of London pics!
Great shot
