Stopped off on the way down to Portsmouth at a tiny hamlet called Chalton, deep in the Hampshire countryside and no more than 20 houses and one pub!.. (Here's the pub taken last month http://365project.org/andycoleborn/odds-sods-and-e/2011-02-05). Took a few snaps at a wonderful old flint-stone built church, called St Michael & All Angels.
Plenty of old and well worn gravestones and a beautiful looking old church. Will visit again one day and give myself a little more time to take some photos.
Went to watch Pompey take on Middlesboro this afternoon - a bore draw and game already forgotten about!! Quick trip to see Mum and Dad, coffee and a bite to eat then back in the car for the 2 hour drive back to London.
Just realsed this is photo number 504 for my main 365 project... Last year I noticed all the milestones (100, 200 and 300)... This time around, number 500 slipped under the radar and passed me by!
Lovely shot! made me feel nostalgic...I used to live in Carterton close to the Cothswolds and there were a number of beautiful small villages such as this one! Miss them! :)
What a wonderful shot. I have been missing the 50mm shots and I knew the minute I saw this one...it had been brought out for the trip! Well done. I am in heaven...so to speak!! Well done..a fav....
