Lame street photo this evening... I headed to Canary Wharf to see if there was anything to shoot, not really having the time to hang about too long, I spot a fellow street snapper, the guy on the far right taking shots across the road of people exiting the building..
Wasn't planning on taking his pic, just watching and waiting for the CW security to turn up, but when the Foreign Office dude just recently back from Panama appeared, I quickly got my camera out of my bag and grabbed a hip shot hoping to get them both in..
To be honest, it's a crap pic so edited the best I could through picnik...
I thought this was No. 300 of my second year, but mis-counted and it's No. 299...!
Neat capture and great retro feel to it. I am always snapping in Canary Wharf getting to and from work and at lunch times too - and no one has ever bothered the security people don't hassle photographers at all which is the way it should be :-)
I like it Andy - the edited tones kind of make it! reckon you're a glutton for punishment persisting on the CW shots with that security guard around - he'll be tagging you before you know it!
I now carry out a print out from the canary wharf website that says photography is allowed...
