Nice try and I am sure that you will crack it! I found getting the timing right was the hardest bit.

@steampowered i think for me it is the focus hahahaha
February 6th, 2014
@annied Do you have manual focus? I used a pencil tip, put that where the drip fell and then focussed on that.

Ha ha ha welcome to the frustrating crown club
Yep the focus is so difficult i found if you focus on the surface of the water the top of the crown is out so I focused a little above the surface i think they are so hard to do but this is a good first effort better than mine ha ha my red crown was my third attempt at this technique applying what I'd learnt the first two times and after about a gazzillion shots in the first two goes thank god for digital images ha ha - keep with it Annie you'll crack it I'm sure :-)
February 6th, 2014
@scolgs thanks Sarah ------ it is fun and frustrating at the same time -----and yes thank heavens for digital ---so many attempts hahahaa
February 6th, 2014
cheers to you for the undertaking!…i have yet to try this particular vixen so will be living vicariously through your attempts!…:)

Oh annie this really made me smile. Love it. I am sure you will crack it, mainly for your determination. At least the air (or water) was green and not blue which is what it would have been in my house!!!
