Florence continues to be naughty and once again slept outside all night, coming in this morning for food. Then she spent the morning on my desk and as well as sleeping decided to sit on my desk diary and play with my pens. She went outside at lunchtime and has not been seen since!
I have spent a good part of the day editing my 2011 photo book, which is actually two books although it only covers a part-year. It does mean that I can include all the pictures and all the words and makes two good-looking books, which are relevant to my daily life.
Warm and dry today although it was noticeably cooler when I went to feed the other animals early this morning.
Today’s picture is a Gatekeeper, it is not as sharp as it ought to be as it was difficult to get close to it; it is the first one I have seen this year, so had to be blipped.
Happy Birthday Nicola Gunn wherever you are. Nicola was one of my daughter’s bridesmaids, (also a Nicola), but she lost touch with her when she went to Australia. Her mother was called Margaret and her father was Jeffrey, Nicola had two brothers, John and Andrew. If you are out there Nicola we think of you and would love it if you got in touch with us again.
