Oliver was at home today so was able to ‘boiler sit’ their plumbers who are putting in a new boiler, so I was not required.
We did not have an Internet connection all morning, which was annoying, but I spent the time working on my photographic book for 2011, which did not need an Internet connection; it is nearly ready to be printed. This afternoon the Internet appeared to be working, but it appears from messages on the village page that others are also having similar problems.
My husband wanted to know something about his ancestors so I went into Ancestry to look at his tree and then spent the afternoon, working on my tree! Not what I had intended. Ancestry has changed, I have not been on the site for a while and although at first I was not keen on the new design, I have now found that it is now that different, although it does appear much easier to find things.
The weather has been dry for most of the day, but just as I went outside to find today’s picture it rained for a few minutes. Today’s picture is of a white Rose; it is a miniature and is growing in one of the tubs by our front door.
