There will probably be a gazillion moon shots but we had a bit of fun watching this last night. My nine year old grandson was quite intrigued and stayed up until he could see the red moon. In case you look at the exif that is from the first full moon shot.
I'm waiting for my new lens to arrive and thought it would be here in time for the eclipse but it wasn't to be... maybe next one. This was taken from our backyard.
Fantastic shot, David and I wandered down to the beach to try and get a shot of the solar eclipse, but unfortunately after days of clear skies and fine weather the rain poured down yesterday and the clouds you could have cut with a knife. Oh well. Got to be a fav. my husband will be so jealous when he sees this shot.
Love this. There may be a zillion as you say, but each will be different and that is part of the fun, needless to say. I might fav all of them, I like the moon so much (well, not enough to get up at 3 am....), and I will definitely fav this one.
This is an awesome collection of the eclipse! Instantly love it :) i would love to have the knowledge and technology to compose something as beautiful as this. Definite Fav and by the look of your other beautiful shots - a follow :)
This is fantastic :) You should submit it for Astronomy Picture of the Day: http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html (Submission instructions on the 'about' page)
@annied lol, going by the number of favs so we will see what happens ;-) You could open a whole can of worms with this topic but probably one that has been opened before...
@annied Annie, not sure if you've seen it but I just happened to check last week's TT and Ross had left a reply on it for us. I didn't get a notification and I thought maybe you didn't also.
Thanks for the follow Denise, will follow back!
Elaine, what a shame about the clouds :(
