Still processing Paris shots! I just love how the Parisians (Europeans in general) get out and enjoy the summer. We are too busy staying out of the sun here so it's not a scene we in North Queensland see too often. The thing that intrigues me in this shot is the window. It has once been covered over but a part broken off to reveal a curtain behind. I wonder if someone lives in there. Obviously the cat does. I wish I had gone back for another photo but this was taken as we cruised down the river.
Love this shot! Fantastic diagonal line, groups of people doing different things to make me wonder what their story is, action and leisure all at once, and that kitty with his unexpected pop of color in the mysterious window - just fantastic Sheralee!! Fav!
@karlow75 Sorry Kane, I'm still processing Paris shots is what I meant. Back home and starting to heat up after the little cool spell we all had. It was even cold here!
Lovely strong diagonal lines, fascinating growth and a very intriguing window. Actually, the mysterious window, curtain and cat caught my eye first! It made me wonder who might live there.
Oh, that opening with the orange cat in it caught my eye immediately. There's surely an interesting story to be told about it. I like the angled line the people form as they sit at the edge of the steps.
@parisouailleurs Helene, I have been trying to find someone to go find that cat!! I would love it if you did. Yes, I do know which bridge, I will be back to tell you.
@parisouailleurs It is Pont Saint Michel and is part of the island. The Quai des Orfevres is behind this section. I really wish I had gone back the next day to see if the cat was there. As you can see this was almost 8.30pm. Do you live in Paris?
Yes Sheralee I live in Paris. I will go and try to see if I see it. Not sure sure I'll be able to dot it before September. Of course I'll take pictures and let you know. If you don't hear about it around mid September May I ask you to remind me? Got so many things to think about that I may forget. Thank you very much - your explanations are very clear and helpful.
This is strange! I don't have many opportunities to stroll there with my camera. I work in Paris but I am always in a hurry, and this is not close to my work to go during lunch time. But if I can, I will check!
@bella_ss thank you so much. It is a long time ago and Paris have changed this past years. I don't have much time this days but if i am in the neighborhood i will take a look and let you know.
