Global Rainbow

Light display by New York and Berlin based artist Yvette Mattern, kicking off the Cultural Olympiad in celebration of the Olympic games this summer.

Revellers came out in droves as I happened to notice just a tad too late...the little access road to one end of the rainbow was gridlocked with cars by the time I had finished taking my shots. Well, it meant a much needed break and quiet time in the car! colour therapy must be working - you can't help but smile when you look up at those bright colour beams crossing the sky.
