Pylon from Walthamstow Wetlands by boxplayer

Pylon from Walthamstow Wetlands

Looking good and wintry on a little amble around the reservoirs today. Very damp but not as bad as had been forecast, with just a bit of odd drizzle.

Was up early to put the potatoes in the oven to bake and make the tuna mayo and guacamole. Had a halloumi fry up with my sister and B before we went and got the bus to Tottenham Hale to meet T, S and H.

Walked to the Wetlands for a short walk around. Not too many birds to be seen: tufted ducks with windblown tufts, cormorants as usual and a few tits in the trees.

Stopped for coffee in cafe before walking back for a lunch of baked potatoes, with assorted fillings along with the sausage and chickpea casserole. Some cava and wine too.

Did the photo viewing sesh, reminiscing about our lovely Thames Path walks then stopped for tea and chocolate loaf and cheese before looking at the rest of the pics.

My sister and B were back but we couldn't manage to think about eating again so they made do with the rather a lot of leftovers.
