Lamentation by boxplayer

This one took a while - the next one in CJ Sansom's Tudor historical thrillers. Huge tome - very good but somehow not quite as unputdownable. Focusing on the political shenanigans during the last year of Henry VIII's life with plotting between the conservative traditionalists (Catholics) and radical reforming types (Protestants).

Dave was out at 11 to go across to Paul's again to finish the shed with R and J. They were there most of the day again. I cycled to the farmers' market and Lidl for a top-up shop. Came back and made carrot soup for Dave's lunches.

A bit of melodeon practice and then sat around reading and listening to CDs. Unfortunately the CD player seems to have had a funny turn and now won't recognise a CD in it.

Pasta bake with aubergine for supper - decided against watching Jason Bourne as we were both tired and watched more Whitehouse and Mortimer fishing.
