Reds and blues

A striking mural on the side of one of the garages on the Ravenswood Industrial Estate next to Mother's Ruin Gin Palace. All quiet here today but after next weekend, it should be buzzing - along with Mother's Ruin, there are about 3 micro-brewery taprooms.

As expected, the temperatures had plummeted this morning - although some bright sunshine warmed things up a touch. But when I left for my cycle ride, there were definite snow flurries.

Did a loop through the park, up to upper Walthamstow, circling back via Wood Street and the village. Pootled round the churchyard for a bit - lovely flowers in bloom - daffs, hyacinths, and a magnolia tree. Halloumi fry-up brunch after Dave had usefully and finally cleaned off the encrusted bird poo on the car windscreen.

Ordered Dave's birthday present - a proper Fitbit of his own as he has been stealing mine to monitor his sleep - 'Your sleep score for a woman of your age ...' is probably not what he wants to hear. Also upgraded my Spotify Premium account to a Duo so he can listen without ads and download too.
