It's a mystery

What is this plant, any ideas? False Castor Oil Plant (Japanese Aralia) apparently, thanks Tony Gig.

Yet another early start as Dave left again for Oxford. And I can never get back to sleep after he's gone so am feeling constantly a bit tired at the moment.

Had a meeting at work and when I came back, found the scrap merchant had tried to phone me and then left a message saying they were on the way to pick up my father's car - me having cancelled it last Friday. Cue frantic call to Pedro to make sure he'd picked up the car from the flat - he had, phew, visions of it being towed away for scrap after I'd sold it to him ...

Really rather cold today, spring doesn't seem to want to come, so was back in my coat. At home, M cooked up some yummy bolognese.

What a near escape with the car episode! You were lucky you were able to sell it! This plant is not a blackberry but interesting to see how it is identified!

A strange looking plant. The berries look like ivy berries but without seeing the leaves as well I'm not sure.

No idea what it is -- good to have the info in the thread. It's a great capture of the range of color as they ripen.
