So this is Cookie. My older boy. He's very against me taking photos of him nowadays and says that if I want a model then I have to pay him! Say what? He's a teenager who's getting grumpier by the day and lives on his tablet playing games. I mentioned that I can't do this project without him or his younger brother as I want to make sure that I document their 2017 as well. Back when I did this project in 2012 I captured some really lovely photos of them and I want to do the same this year. But he's having none of it at the mo. Maybe I can persuade him with a thank you gift at the end of the 12 months as a little sweetener. Gonna get my thinking cap on. Oh and even though you can't see his face - I quite like this photo.
And ps, I do actually have a gorgeous photo of his face but he says I can't post it without his permission. Hmmm...what to do.
I ran into that this year and it seemed they felt a bit sorry for me after awhile and gave in to me taking and posting their photos. Maybe the same will happen with you. For the record, I have paid my kids for their shots some times..but they really have to cooporate. :))
They grew out of that phase also.
