Texture and Pattern- Day 8

Day 8 of the "Flash of Red" challenge- Black and white photography for the month of February with a flash of red on February 14. The theme for days 4-10 is "Texture and Pattern." This project has caused me to discover things that I didn't know existed in my own community. Today, I discovered a community organic garden in Oakland Park, Florida. The produce is sold to the public. There are also over 80 prepared plots that individuals can rent to grow their own produce. This photo highlights the textures and patterns in a leaf of swiss chard.
