Same Subject- Using positive/negative space to emphasize shape- Day 16

Day 16 of the "Flash of Red" challenge- Black and white photography for the month of February with a flash of red on February 14. The theme for days 11-17 is "Same Subject (Shape, Positive and Negative Space)." This is my only candid shot of the week. This is Garrett's fourth year singing in the Florida Singing Sons Boys Choir. I took this during a rehearsal today for a patriotic concert they are singing in tomorrow. He wasn't aware of my shooting it while he was listening to the choir director for instructions. Although there is a whole choir of adults behind him, they become negative space in the photo due to the short depth of field.
that is wonderful DOF!

So wistful looking. Nicely done. I too, like the background. The faces "bokeh".
