Looking Up

On my walk today I was practicing getting everything in focus with my new lens. Here's a cell phone tower above a blossoming tree.

What is your new lens? I have a Nikon D5200, and so far I've only added a 50mm, which I love.

I like the leading lines and the contrasting colours of the blossom

@tracys I am going on a trip to Ukraine in a couple of weeks and I needed a single lens because we will be short on packing space. I got a Tamron 18-270mm to cover all the bases. I'm just practicing using it. Of course it's not as sharp as my prime 35mm that I love, but the wide angle to zoom is amazing. Yes, I love my 35, but I also want a 50mm.

I do like seeing a whole bush of blossom instead of close-ups. This pink goes beautifully with the lovely blue sky! Nice composition!
