All Wrapped Up
These woodland Bloodroot flowers were the third to appear in my garden this spring. Their leaves have not unwrapped yet.
This plant has an interesting history with Native Americans. They used the root for red dye.

What an interesting flower. Thanks for sharing. Do the flowers push up through the curled leaves?

Yes, the flowers to push through the wrapped up leaves. Later, the leaves will unfurl; they are very large and heart shaped.
