Wednesday morning I woke up a little earlier so I could capture the blood moon. I took a few shots of the eclipse progression and then went inside to get ready for work. When I went outside again, at the time the moon was supposed to be red, it was gone. I was only gone about 15 minutes so I don’t know what happened!! I was disappointed. Guess I’ll have to wait a few years until the next one—2048, right?
I took off work Wednesday night to take Trevor out to eat for his birthday. He turns 24 on Thursday, but he has to work. Amazing I how time flies.
Today I’m thankful for...
1. Nature
2. Space
3. Time with Trevor
4. Pay day
5. Birthday celebrations
You nailed it, Della! I was fortunate that the moon stayed high for all the progression, but as it was coming to a conclusion (from my vantage point) it really dropped (seemingly) fast once it was in relation to buildings in the foreground!
