Wahoooooo....learning curve here I come. (I'm going to need a few accessories...like lenses, a bag, maybe a lense cap...)
AND to add to the fun, this is a found camera. When it was first found I checked the photos on it to see if there was a way to identify the owner. There were two pictures of flowers...that is it. We called the paper and the police. After a year of it not being claimed I tried it but it felt like I was using someone else's camera and I put it away again. I have been saving for a DSLR...then I realized there was one in the basement so I am going to practise with it. When I looked at it today I found 200 photos from 4 (or more?) years ago that I took when I first tried it. Can't wait to see what they are. This is such a bonus.
A new life for camera! How good is that! With your eye and a new toy....look out! Have a blast! Looking forward to new tricks! Oh, and like the snap! Fav!
love the tilt and processing!! So sad that someone lost something like this, but i think it was very awesome of you that you reported it and tried finding the owner!! not many would bother doing what you did, so way to go!! you are going to LOVE this camera! very excited for you! always something to learn!!!! have fun :)
Awesome! You know, I keep a UV filter on my lens and never bother with the lens cap. Maybe not good advice, but has been ok for me for past eight months.
@rockinrobyn I was just out shopping for one and the store I went to didn't have caps but had UV filters...the clerk said the same thing and I was going to buy it but they didn't have the right size! Heading to the big city this weekend so will pick up one (maybe both) there. I really appreciate the advice. Thanks you.
great choice!!have fun with it !!!=D
