My wife and I went to Gozo again today mainly to collect the olive oil from the oil press. The Italian guy who filled our 5L bottle told us that he would not trade the fresh oil with anything on the market and the bruscetta would taste like heaven. After lunch we went down to the "Red Shore" (Ix-Xatt l-Aħmar) and on our way down we came across several farmers ploughing. Most were using heavy machinery in large fields. This one was using a much smaller plough. We could smell the soily dust that was being churned up by the ploughs until we reached the sea.
