A Cold-toed Mouse's View

Not very exciting today, frosty again this morning so ventured into the garden and got down in the grass to see what the little mouse might have seen when I gently escorted him from the house yesterday,,, I can see why he might have wanted to stay! Some horrible cold, wet white blobs have started to fall from the sky tonight so he might be a cold-eared mouse by now too. Sorry mouse! Probably better than a game of tag then being eaten by a cat. Two cats...

So chuffed with your comments, view and faves on the funny sky I spotted yesterday, thank you so much. It's been a peaceful weekend so far, hope yours is lovely!
You know, he might just be in your picture if you look closely. What a funny story. You are a gem above price. I love this.

this is so beautiful and you are so kind to the little mouse! having a dog has made me more compassionate towards animals. In the past I would've said "shoot those stray dogs" but now i am feeding them instead and even turning over poor struggling beetles lying on their backs.

Nice story about the mouse: nightmare memories when we found a mouse in the house when our baby was 15 days old... this is the second shot with green grass I've seen today: now I really want to take one myself but I guess I'll have to wait a bit... freezing cold here as well

yes I can see why the mouse wanted inside :) I was downtown at our winter festival for a few hours and my toes almost froze right off!

Nice close-up. Love the vibrant green colour. Is that a four leaf clover I see....? ;-)

Lovely frosty shot - hope the mouse found somewhere warm - and it does look like four leaves there Helge, if that is clover.

Lovely close-up. I love how frost looks on the grass and clover, but it's sometimes hard to get down close enough (or get up early enough) to capture it. Great job here.
