Alphabet month for me - so a bit of a fun treasure-hunt and different-sort of challenge. Hope you might enjoy seeing where they come from (if I can find them all) but please don't trouble to leave a comment as few will be picturesque!
A- Well Amongst the Animals and my mother-out-law Anne, And All sorts of Appetising Alcohol, I spotted this and guess in this instance, A is for Alpha. It's on the church porch window, stained glass with a wire mesh behind it for protection. Inset into a lovely shaped window but too high for me to get it just right.
Thank you all so much for your marvellous comments - have to say I loved yesterday's but George wasn't so impressed with all of them!! Hehehe!! :)
G'day Phil That's an interesting challenge. It would be interesting to follow your progress, alas, I'll be off the air for a spell. Great start, well captured.
@tonydebont Thanks Tony - given the choice I think I'd rather go on a cruise to China!! I think the best view might be the calendar one once I'm into April so you won't miss much! Have a super trip, can't wait to see the photos when you get back! :)
Lovely start Phil and thanks @woot for tipping your hat to Alia and I. Our challenge was to find the alphabet in everyday, and not so everyday, things, so in some ways finding the letters in print might be a little easier for some and just as challenging for others (Q!!). Check out the tag febalphabet and you'll see some of the things we came up with and have fun on yours!
@olivetreeann Hello Ann, thank you so much for your encouragement! That is my plan too, and I will love to look at your months.. now shall I cheat for inspiration when I get stuck? Maybe I'll try to wait until the end of the month!! I have the first few ideas written down then it sort of dries up.... fingers crossed!
@filsie65 You can do it! Once you get your eyes and mind attune to looking for them, you won't be able to stop seeing them. I was driving my poor friends crazy- Oh look! There's a T! There's an E! But they all know about 365 so they just put up with it! And please feel free to borrow any or all ideas- imitation is the highest form of flattery! (o:
That's quite a challenge.... don't think I would try the alphabet, that's going to be tough. Maybe the numbers 1 to 10. It would be a whole different mindset to go ut with camera in hand looking for something specific to shot.
