Alphabet-hunt challenge this month: don't worry about leaving a comment but thank you for stopping by!
Oh Ok... my married name (which I kept) begins with O which makes me Mrs O and my initials become PO. Moving on... apart from the Odd surname, O is for Oranges, for Owl Class (at school), for Ordinary and Olde (both of which seem to suit me) - but particularly the Olde letter O which I found carved On a wooden lecturn in church. I gave it an Orton-ish effect which I thought made it a little Out of the Ordinary!
(and Odd how it seems to point Out rather than in?)
Now I know you Nice folk are Naturally Neighbourly! Thanks for calling by to see my N :)
Yes, this does look liked it's a raised symbol (out) and not carved (in). Even knowing it's carved my eyes still see it as coming out of the wood. It's really pretty. Nice catch for your O day.
O is for oo-roo, and features promininently in coo-ee, is often mistaken for a zero in telephone numbers, is a perfect circle but more importantly with all those wonderful oo's reminds me of the ooroo ootang or ourangatang.
Your N looks carved deep into the rock
Your 'O' does look like an 'outy', rather than an 'inny', doesn't it!
