R... well R is for my Mum, Rose, for Roses & Romance and Really Radical Roast dinners! Plus of course there are the three Rs, Reading 'Riting and 'Rithmatic which I do every day at school!
My maiden name was Richmond and I was very pleased to find this Regal-looking Medieval R in our church .. it was on a list of 'Rectors of this Parish' - a Record dating back to before 1232... have tried to take a photo of it all but it's so faint in places and the glass doesn't help. (Working on it). Not sure how old this R is but it was hand-painted and unique and I love it!

Great R ...R for me is my lovely 20 year old daughter Robyn , who dropped in today to use the dryer as it has been raining for most of the week and she was running out of work uniforms ::))
