If only I had thought of this before... perfect way to make shapes appear is to eat them and photograph leftovers!! Actually this is the first time I have ever posted a shot of anything I nibbled, it's a pretzel and I can tell you it took a lot of attempts before I managed to be left with a bit that looked like a number three. The things I do for these 365 challenges.....!!!
Thank you so much to anyone who viewed/commented on my no 2 swan yesterday. I thought you might like to know that in order to un-straighten and crop it like that I added a couple of thick borders, which I merged into the picture with a doodle tool. (otherwise the swan's head disappeared when I tried to straighten it to the angle I wanted). Then made it black and white (so that the beak merged in), then selective-coloured the background blue. After all that it was huge compared to the no 1 so I added a couple more borders by 'dipping' into the colour of the 'water' so it blended. Gosh it sounds like a 5-step challenge!
Still a bit stuck for no 5 but then again the biscuit tin is nearby so is the toaster.... :)
Great job on the number 3 and such sacrifices! How do you manage?? If you like spaghetti, I'm sure a cooked noodle can be contorted into a 5 as well. Alas I am using actual numbers and cannot resort to food for mine.
I've sometimes tought I should have been one of those food photographers. Must be great to get to eat all that delicious food after taking pictures of it. I've never thoght of doing it the other way round.... eat the food first, then photograph the leftovers ;-) Great idea and a perfect 3!
Hahaha! I love your dedication to your craft and to this challenge :-) This is one very neat 3 but I think you could improve this...so keep nibbling away ;-)
