Thank heaven for a blue sky this morning - I went out and played with the feather (the one wot I rashly chose for my 'same September' Tuesday) and got a shot. You might be able to imagine what I looked like (think Isadora Duncan) and why the neighbours called the men in white coats...! (Rather clumsily edited out my hand before they take me away...)
Rows and floes of angel hair, And ice cream castles in the air, And feather canyons ev'rywhere, I've looked at clouds that way...

Hahaha ;D picturing you made me chuckle! I have tried this before without much luck, it was too windy. You have inspired me to try again on a clear day when there is a little less breeze of course. Fantastic shot!
Nice shot, feathers aren't easy either... they have a tendency to move just when you go SNAP! I often wonder what my neighbours must think lol... with me laying on the ground or bum in the air and all contorted trying to get a shot.
Oh do not worry- you are not the only the neighbors think are crazy. I'm sure most of mine wonder what in the world I find so fascinating in my gardens! Great feather shot (and word picture with Isadora!).
White feather does make a cool contrast to the oh so blue sky! And yes, I am sure that most of the 365'ers do some awesome stunts getting the best photo! I know I do! Love your commentary!
