A friend threw these out from a flower arrangement so I begged them for me rather than the bin! Thought they were so pretty and took a shot of them by the window to try to catch the light coming through.
(Obscured the view and window with a white plastic bag!)

Very pretty shot and so creative that you used a plastic bag to block out some of the light. We call these Japanese Lanterns. Like the simplicity of the image.
they are so pretty! now that is a very good idea about the white bag at the window! I will keep that in mind! just in case you don't already know it, you can keep these forever....don't put them in water and they will dry just like they are. congrats on PP!
I just love Chinese lanterns! I never, ever would have thought to use a garbage bag. How clever! It has the most wonderful effect ... really love this shot.
