Well my goodness I have been a little distracted this weekend but I have never got three days' behind on my 365 project before! I realised I must remedy this rather than let it slip further.... and will do my utmost best to catch up with your shots when I get a spare hour tomorrow (I hope).
This is a replica pendant bought for Cathy by her Grandma in Staffordshire. I was brought up near there, and George was born in Stafford so I was very excited to hear about the Staffordshire Hoard when it was found - the largest hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold and silver metalwork yet found. Clearly Anne (my mother-out-law) went to see it and bought a souvenir for Cathy - today it forms part of my decoration/ornament/red/sparkle theme shot. Phew! I bet the folk who made it had no idea...!
So grateful to you for viewing/ commenting on my odd hyacinth shot.. have to report it looks just about the same now (except no sunlight) and I am waiting for Gordon to be proven right...!
What a lovely pendant! I love the reflection it makes on the surface. It's okay to be a bit behind. I'm trying to stop being behind myself because it makes it so I have that much more to go through and comment on! Last week was the longest I've gone without posting to the project but I was having pain and vision issues! This is a great shot! Well done, Phil!
