What a surprizze

I had so many towels to wash and dry (thanks teenagers) that I took advantage of a breeze & the washing line. Imagine my surprise to find this little chap on the towel as I brought it in..in January?! And imagine my bigger surprise to find out he was deceased. So... how did he get there...?! Loved his fuzziness, and I'd have got closer if I'd known he wasn't going to jump up any second. Actually, are his wings squewiff?
Playing catch-up... thank you for not minding you are all so darned lovely and fabulously good-looking and talented. mwah mwah creep creep
Great detail, shame it was deceased

He's looking for some nectar. Your towels must smell sweet. Excellent close-up.

Wow! That is a surprise! Great shot, Phil! I'd have freaked and dropped the towel outside! I think a deceased bee is a good bee. Maybe he warmed up and then ventured out of wherever he was hibernating and got cold and died. What an odd visitor in January! Well captured though! :)

Shame about the poor wee guy - guess you can't always be safe out after curfew! Fabulous detail and your towels are so useful!!!
