"Time flies by when I'm the driver of a train and I ride on the footplate there and back again...."
Had a great little adventure with Cathy today - we went to Leighton Buzzard to the narrow gauge 'Buzzrail' for a little ride there and back again. Lurvely. This was the driver of 'Elf' the engine about to drive to the front of the train for the next trip. Would have cropped it closer but I loved the little chap looking on and the feeling of an interaction between them. Reminded me of when it would have been George (about 3 weeks ago it seems.....)
So glad you liked my lovely England as shown yesterday - grateful for your feedback and comments you're all sweethearts! :)
Great shot, Phil! I love the color of the engine. The little boy is a bonus. It reminds me of how much I loved (and still love) trains when I was young. I used to put pennies on the train tracks to have them run over them and flatten them (even though my mum told me and my sisters that we weren't ever supposed to play near the tracks - but since when did we ever listen as kids??). Well captured :)
