Queen Anne's Lace

Or 'Cow Parsley' as it's known. Before I did 365 I had never appreciated how delicate this is - very lacy. For a few weeks it brightens up the hedgerows (and gardens) with a gypsophila-like prettiness then turns twiggy and rough. I took this before I went away, and am very glad I did as it's now morphed into a scruffy patch.
Thanks for calling by - I have So Much to catch up with both here and in the nether world outside 365, but hope to do so quickly. Mwah
Besutiful. Queen Anne's Lace is my preferred name. It is just so pretty.

I have always known this as Cow Parsley and always love to see it in the hedgerow. I even had a wall in my lounge covered with a textured wallpaper with Cow Parsley images on it. Very trendy at the time- early 1980's!! LOL!!
