Falkland Islands

Well today I have cheated a little! My husband is currently serving in the Falkland Islands and he has sent me several pictures of what it is like over there. This collection is of San Carlos and surrounding area, including the cemetery where the British Armed Forces who lost their lives in the Falklands War in 1982 are buried.

I have been across there myself a few years ago, but didn't make it this far around the island, as when I went it was the middle of winter and the weather was too bad. It is just coming into spring there now and the weather is getting warmer, and as you can see in these pictures the sun is out!
