The Jardin des Tuileries is right next to the Louvre, and is a beautiful park created by Catherine de Medicis as the garden of the Tuileries palace in 1564. This shot doesn't do the park justice (I'll return another day!), but I did like seeing the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Paris is suffering from high pollution levels, and visibility wasn't very good today. Hoping it moves off soon so I can get back to proper sightseeing! - Lucy
Paris is not the place to be at the moment if you care for fresh air, But the bus and cycles are free. Beautiful view and a great capture of a nice part of Paris
