Pie Shop, yum, yum. (York) by fishers

Pie Shop, yum, yum. (York)

A new shop has opened on The Shambles, a traditional pie and sausage shop. This is quite in keeping with the origins of the street, a street of butchers. Shambles are the off cuts of meat trimmed from joints and would have been made into pies or sausages.

I rather liked the sign and the pies I could see looked every bit as good. Sadly I didn't have time to buy one.

They seem to have gone back to the old habit of displaying a sign showing their wares. A great idea and shot.

@fishers I`ve a solution if you don`t want to wait that long. Buy one. Make from the eating a party and don`t eat more that day.
