Weather Vane in Brixton

The weather in south west London today was rather unpleasant, with frequent squally showers, so a day of rest from exploring, and time spent playing with Natalya.

So, another shot from yesterday in Brixton showing this unusual weather vane. It can be found at the north end of Windrush Square, on the roof of the Kentucky Fried Chicken shop.

I suppose a bird weather vane above a Kentucky Fried Chicken shop really ought to be a chicken, but no, it's a heron with a fish in it's mouth. I love finding these little details in our cities and towns.
