One of the marvellous features of churches large and small in the UK is the presence of stained glass windows. Here is an example from Wakefield Cathedral which has recently been cleaned and restored, so it can be seen at it's best. This particular window was created by HM Barnett in 1868.
( It was a one day art.)
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated!
It's amazing the amount of detail and the vibrant colours that are visible in newly restored stained glass.

Thank you Nina, it is a beautiful piece of glass. This is quite a contrast with my last shot of it taken before it was cleaned and restored.

Thank you both, I'm glad that you like it.
